From the supplier: A previous study by Timothy Park and Frances Antonovitz sought to construct an empirical model of a futures trading firm's behavior in the presence of basic risk. However, the study failed to consider the fact that the second period futures price is dependent on the future spot price, a factor that lessens the empirical model's effectiveness. Furthermore, the study's conclusions regarding a test for constant absolute risk aversion were largely incorrect.
